Kono new centre
We have opened a new centre in Kono funded by the Joe Strummer Foundation. Kono is Fallah Koroma aka Fal G’s home town and was at the centre of the conflict. Many ex combatants are still on the edge of society with nothing to do. Fal G left to live on the streets of Freetown and only recently reunited with his mother after 17 years. The studio is his dream come true and although it has been a struggle to get it equipped, it is now open
