Jamie is Charity Coordinator for the Joe Strummer Fund, JSF, whose mission is to provide opportunities to musicians and support to projects around the world that create empowerment through music. JSF have supported WAYout since 2012 when they funded our first sound studio and sent over a producer to train studio engineers. Since then they have funded the mobile studio, teaching studio and the prison studio. Jamie has visited Sierra Leone three times with Frank Turner and has been a constant support.


Mash P is currently in the UK on a global talent visa for his music. He has played Glastonbury for 2 years running, toured with Frank Turner and studied at ICMP music school. Mash P has been a member of WAYout for nine years. He graduated four years ago having completed courses in filmmaking, photoshop, logic and photography. He is multi talented and his photographs have been exhibited in London, Manchester, Bridport and the USA. It has always been his dream to open a WAYout centre in his home town Taiama and recently that dream became true supported by Mixmasters and LNADJ
