Prince Claus funding
WAYout was delighted to receive funding from the Prince Claus fund and we have now nearly completed five films- one about an ex child soldier; one is the story of George Wyndham, number 3 seed in para table tennis in all Africa and his fight to get to the paralympics 2016; one is a look at FGM post Ebola and one is Abdul’s story of disabled life in Freetown when you want to be a musician.
The five music artists are a wonderful mix of traditional musicians who have recorded a total of 18 tracks. Neneh is already on soundcloud and the others will follow shortly.
